Bodyweight skull crusher
Fixed Bar Triceps Extension, also called a bodyweight triceps extension or bodyweight skull crusher. Lee Priest has said Arnold showed him this exercise during the photo shoot for The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding, and it became one of his favorite triceps builders.
How to do it:
Hold a fixed bar (Smith machine or barbell set in a rack) with an overhand grip.
Walk your feet back so your body is at an angle.
Lower your forehead under the bar by bending only your elbows.
Press back to the starting position by extending your elbows.
Keep your upper arms still throughout the movement.
Lee Priest often recommends performing it for 10–15 controlled reps, focusing on a deep stretch and a hard lockout.
It provides excellent triceps activation while being easier on the elbows than heavy skull crushers for many lifters.
