Fitness is not rocket science as the media or the fitness industry try’s to portray it. But it’s not simple though, people are always in quest of magic pill to get in shape and let me tell you there is no magic pill for good health, fit body or success. I am not promising this is the answer you are looking for or this will give you 100% fit body without even you putting effort. My training style and my training principle has always been “Intensity”, that’s the key. Weight training or any other form of training without intensity results in poor or no results.
 
 Why do people fail?

Most people get into a training program with lots of expectations and very little effort. Effort and preparation is the most vital factors in getting results from any training program. What I mean by preparation is you have to foresee the hurdles you will face when you’re on a training program be it in terms of schedule or intensity or be it sticking to a very straight diet. Efforts are working your way through pain, lack of focus, there will be days when you don’t feel like training or you may question yourself why I am I doing this? That’s when you put in your effort and drag yourself to the gym and train or run a mile or two.

Another factor what I see is people are not goal oriented they are always bothered about end result. Well let me tell you, you are failing to understand the most important point of all, it’s the daily grind lifting weights or running track or swimming laps and laps you reach your final goal. Always remember “A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step”. The joy of achieving little goals step by step is far more enriching then chanting about the end result. I am not promising you this the best way to train or the only way to train. But it definitely gets results and has given me great results.

Reverse pull-ups

Reverse pull-ups are fun and challenging at the same time. Pull ups are an excellent exercise to build back muscles and if you are able to do higher reps then you can display great definition in your back muscle. The best thing about pull-ups is that it can be done anywhere anytime, its one of the best bodyweight exercises. It’s a best home workout and Home workouts without weights, also can be done in park where pull up bars are available. It’s the most basic exercise one can do and has been doing since childhood whether it’s to reach the cookie jar on the shelf or to build muscle.



The pull up moment should be crisp and fluid without jerking and struggling. Focus on stimulation rather than fast and non focused moment. You need to focus and make sure there is mind and muscle connection.  Pull ups are vital in military workout routine and it’s very famous in cross fit community. Reverse grip pull ups are very good to build that v-taper look and hit primarily latissimus dorsi and biceps as you do it with palms facing forward. One thing about pull ups is that they look very easy but it can be as difficult as it looks.  Try this reverse grip pull ups and build a better chiseled back without going to gym. I would say this one of the Best exercises to build muscle at home, this is on my list of 5 at home exercises.

Dubai new Mecca for bodybuilding

Dubai new Mecca for bodybuilding, yes you heard me right! Dubai is doing really great in promoting bodybuilding. There are many pro bodybuilders from Middle East who is taking world of bodybuilding by storm like big Ramy and Essa Obiad. Everyone knows big Ramy and how much potential he has to be a future Mr. Olympia. There were also few other bodybuilders from the same area but were less know as sport had not grown that much back in the days and there was no media coverage. One such pro was Ali malla.


Considering that this area is rich with money and many of the Pros from the US and Europe goes on "Sponsor" guest posing over to Dubai. It is also believed that many of the Middle Eastern/Arab bodybuilders make more money as amateurs than they would if they turned Pro. The Middle East has always been big on bodybuilding.  You won't hear much about them over in the US but on the international circuit many Middle Eastern bodybuilder are present and dominant.

Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit

Ufc 195- Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit, I see Robbie winning the fight. No suspires there! Robbie has been phenomenal in his past few fights and those were wars. He has great power and skill and looks undefeatable, he has overpowered every opponent in his past and looks like he is going to do the same this time.



Carlos Condit is an excellent fighter who fights to destroy his opponents and put a beating. He has amazing striking and fighting skills and showed in past over and over again. He is coming back from an injury and that can be a concern as to how it’s going affect fight. Over all this is a great fight and I see Robbie winning. UFC 195 card looks awesome and is sure to get interesting fights and entertainment. Let me know your thoughts and opinion on this fight.

Kevin levrone doing a comeback to bodybuilding 2015 and Training Routine, well his comeback is still a question; I don’t see it happening in 2015 but 2016 you never know. 


He is very famous for training just 4- 6 months and getting back in competition shape but none the less he has incredible physique for his age and Wanted to go through his training back in the day, may not be the exact routine but was on the same lines.





He does all the pulling moments on one day and push moments the next day. He is big on flat bench press, squat and bent over rows.

Lee Priest Bodybuilding Legend

Lee Priest Bodybuilding Legend, Lee Priest is a bodybuilding legend who an awesome bodybuilder the 90’s and was one of the best in the pro ranks. He is from Australia and started bodybuilding at a very young age of 12.He won his fist show at the age of 13, a great legend in making. 




He won Mr Australia at 17 and he had phenomenal body, especially the biceps and quads were pretty impressive.  His training style is mostly influenced from the old school bodybuilding and is a great poser and we spoken witty personality.




He is also a no nonsense and straight forward person which caused him lot of trouble in his career. He still trains to this day and still looks good. He also won Mr. Universe in 2013.

Alistair Overeem vs. Junior dos santos

Alistair Overeem vs. Junior dos santos, this fight had to happen few years ago, it’s been a long wait but worth the wait. Both Alistair and JDS are great strikers and stand up artist. Alistair has accomplished everything what a supreme athlete should and could! He has been a K1 champion, strike force champion and has fought many legends and battles in pride.


JDS is an excellent fighter who is former ufc champion and has great heart and skills; he has fought battles with Cain and demolished some top heavyweight fighters. His comeback fight with Overeem is perfect for him because, if he wins this fight then he makes a big statement and can lead to possible title fight.






I see Overeem winning this fight either by knockout or decision. The reason I say Alistair is going to win because JDS hasn’t fought for a longtime and there will be ring rust which can have major impact on the performance and results.

Largest arms in the world

Manfred Hoeberl was a power lifter and a strongman competitor from the 90’s. He was from the same town as that of fellow Austrian legend Arnold Schwarzenegger. He won European strongman competition twice and was a very strong contender in world strongest men. 












He won Austria’s strongman contest 7 times, he once was the man with the largest arms in the world which was 25.75 inches cold and 26 inches when pumped. He would curl 150 pounds dumbbell for reps like they were nothing. He is officially certified on the No. 3 Captain’s of Crush gripper. His fame in the world of strongman and power lifting was short lived as he was severely injured in a car crash and had major injuries thus stopping him from competing in world strongest man.           

Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm Rematch and Predictions

As we all know Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm Rematch is on! Now few thoughts cross our mind, at least my mind when I hear that. Isn’t it unfair that Holly isn’t provided time to defend her title against other top contenders in the line? Would Dana have done the same if another other fighter was beaten the way Holly beat Ronda?


Well let me tell you what I feel, “a fight is a fight for a true martial artist, whether it’s against an ex-champion or a top contender”. I don’t think if it were to be any other fighter other than Ronda they wouldn’t have got a shot at the title again so soon. On the contrary why shouldn’t Ronda get a rematch? She is the one who brought so much of attention to the female fighting division and to a level where it’s the main event. Ronda is an excellent athlete and should get a second chance at the title. Her attitude should be considered against her fighting skills. From the UFC standpoint, it’s a great event and is going to be even bigger than the first fight.

Coming to fight predictions, Holly is going to keep her title and defeat Ronda as long as she does extra lot of work on the ground game and is able to take care when she is in the clinch. Ronda on the other hand should and will go with what she does the best that’s ground game and trade mark Arm Bar! If she is going to think of beating Holly in the stand up that’s not going to happen.


But as I always say its fight and anything can happen in a fight!
