What If Mike Tyson was boxing In 70’s?

What If Mike Tyson was boxing In 70’s? An era where Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Larry Holmes, Kenny Norton, Ron Lyle and Ernie Shavers ruled the boxing world. Muhammad Ali one of the greatest fighting machines with Lighting speed and ability to adapt to almost any style in the ring.

The heavy weight division had great depth and wealth of boxing skill and knowledge.

Just wondered if Tyson would have been as impressive as he was in late 80’s and 90’s as this greats?

  1. I believe Mike would have competed quite well in the 70's era he was supremely talented himself, let's not forget Ali was in his declining years, but it certainly would have been far tougher than the average opponents he faced in the 80's. The only opponent I think he would have had a bad time with stylistically in my opinion would have been Foreman who demolished short opponents, hit even harder than Mike and was way too powerful. But I think Mike would have been a top contender for sure as he would have been in any era
